The concept is very creative! I think it should be stated that this is a two player game, as I found myself playing both black and white by default. It was also not very clear when a side has won. Definitely well related to the theme! I appreciate you submitting even though you won't be eligible for a prize!
Thank you! The feedback is appreciated :) I think you have a good point, should've made it more clear that it's a two player title, at least as it stands. Perhaps I'll come back to it and add an AI or online play mode - both pretty alien to me right now. Also could've done with more visual- & sound-effects for things like game overs and just generally moving pieces.
But it was fun! First jam I've actually been able to submit for and I'm happy with what I managed to put together :)
